A physical NFC business card that opens your full digital business card with a single tap. No scanning, no typing, no app. Just tap and connect.

A tap is faster than a QR scan, more memorable than a link, and impossible to lose in a pocket.
Hold your card to any iPhone or Android phone. No app needed. Your full Cardtly profile opens instantly.
NFC is built into every iPhone since 2018 and virtually every Android. No special app, no Bluetooth, no QR scan needed.
The card links to your live Cardtly profile. Update your number, add a new link, change your job — the card always shows the latest.
Premium PVC, the same material as a bank card. No battery, no charging, no expiry. One card for years.
Tap it against a phone, or let them scan the back. Either way they land on your card.
Front
Logo, name and job title on your own artwork. The NFC chip sits inside - one tap opens your card, no app.
Back
Older phones and locked-down work devices can still scan. The code points at your live card, so it never goes stale.
Artwork and proofing are included in both prices, with no design fee on top. Tap any card to see the back.

Questions, answered
An NFC business card is a physical card with a small chip inside that opens a web page when it is held against a phone. There is no battery, no pairing and nothing to charge. The chip stores a link, the phone reads it from a couple of centimetres away, and your Cardtly card opens in the browser the person already has. Because the card only stores a link, the details it shows are whatever is on your Cardtly card at that moment, so a card printed months ago still opens your current job title and phone number. One physical card lasts indefinitely and never needs reprinting when something changes.
Effectively every current smartphone. iPhones from the XR onwards read NFC tags in the background with no app and no setting to turn on, and Android phones have supported it for longer still. The person taps nothing and installs nothing: they hold their phone near the card and a notification appears with your link. Where a phone is older or has NFC switched off, the QR code printed on the same card works instead, which is why every Cardtly NFC card carries both. In practice you are never left without a way to share.
R150 for the standard design, which puts your logo and colours on the Cardtly layout, or R200 for a custom design built around your brand instead. Both include the artwork and a proof before anything is printed. Shipping is R100 per order rather than per card, so ordering ten cards for a team costs the same to ship as ordering one, and delivery is 5 to 7 business days within South Africa. The card is a once-off purchase and is separate from the Cardtly subscription, which is R97 per card per month.
No, and most people never buy one. Your QR code and your link work on their own at no extra cost, and they are how the majority of cards get shared. The physical card earns its place in face-to-face situations, at an event or across a counter, where holding two phones together is faster and more memorable than asking somebody to open their camera app. It is an accessory to the digital card, never a requirement for it, and everything on your Cardtly card works identically whether or not you own one.
